Athletic Update and Important Information

In order to reduce the amount of paper used by the Athletic Association, the weekly athletic updates will be posted on the parish website.  The website is www.stmarygv.com and all athletic information is posted under the athletics web link.  On the site will be practice schedules, game schedules, picture schedules and the athletic updates.

Gym Staffing

St. Mary hosts volleyball and basketball games every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  We need people to work the concession stand and take admission money.  Each team will be responsible for working at least one Saturday during their sport season.  In addition, 7th and 8th graders can work for service hours with a parent.

Eligibility

The Athletic Association can suspend players from games and practices due to poor behavior at school or athletic functions.  If your child becomes ineligible, the athletic director will notify parents and the student athlete.  The ineligible athlete must attend practice and sit on the bench, in uniform, during the game(s).  Failure to attend practice or attend the game(s) will result in further ineligibility.

            Sincerely,

            St. Mary Athletic Association
