Diocesan Family Relief Fund News: The Office for Social Concerns is receiving calls
from individuals, groups, and companies that have collected school supplies,
cleaning supplies, and other material items that need to be taken south to the
gulf area. If you, your family, or a group you know of are traveling
south to help with the rebuilding after Katrina and you are willing to take a
few extra boxes (or haul a small trailer), please contact Erin Cordle, Diocesan
Family Relief Fund coordinator at 614-241-2540 or ecordle@colsdioc.org. Likewise, if
you have items that you have collected and want to send to the gulf area,
please call.

All Parish and school Employees / Volunteers
are required to attend
a Protecting God’s Children Seminar and have a BCI Background Check done
on them. It is crucial for our volunteers who have care, custody, or control
of children to know that you are required to do this. If you are unwilling
to do so, you will not be permitted to continue as a parish volunteer. We will
have an on-site audit of our facility in the near future. The safety of our children and young people is best assured when all
adults have been trained and understand how to build a safe environment for
children. St. Mary’s will host a Protecting
God’s Children session on Saturday, August 5th from

Registration applications for the 2006-07 school year are being accepted for grades PK
– 8. Please call the school office 444-8994 for forms and more information.

The Ohio Department of Education is opening the Voucher Ohio Choice
Scholarships applications. From July 31 through August 2 we will accept
applications for registration and voucher students at the school. Call Cindy
