If you are admitted to a hospital St. Mary’s may not be notified. Please give us a call if you would like a visit. Due to privacy issues no one will be listed in the bulletin sick list unless the person themselves or an immediate family member requests it.

ECO (Electric Contributions Option) Program is always open for new sign-ups. See the information at the rear of church or call the parish office. ECO –schedule: Weekly December 18, 26; bi-weekly December 18; Monthly December 1st or 15th. Christmas Day Contribution December 26th.

Anointing Of The Sick will be administered this weekend December 16th – 17th after each mass.

Penance Service: Join us for the Sacrament of Penance at 2:00 p.m. on the 17th, at which time four priests will be available for the sacrament.  If you have need for a later time, Father Thomas will also be at the penance service at Holy Spirit at 4:00 p.m.

♫ Christmas morning music: Children’s choir rehearsal will be December 10, 17 and possibly 24th from 9:45 – 10:30 a. m. during Coffee & Donuts. Midnight Mass rehearsals will be Thursday, December 7th following the 7:00 p.m. Mass, December 13th and December 21st. Midnight Mass music will begin at 11:30 p.m.

Christmas Eve 5:00 p.m. Family Mass kids choir rehearsals will be Sunday, December 17th 12:45 – 1:45 and Tuesday, December 19th 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

One Time Daily Mass Change: Mass will be celebrated here at 12:00 on December 26th through the 28th.  There will be no mass on Friday that week.

FYI: St. Mary’s church will be closed to the public Thursday, December 21st beginning at 1:00 p.m. for floor cleaning.

St. Mary Annual Christmas Tree Sale continues through December 23rd featuring fresh top quality Douglas Fir, Fraser Fir, Scotch Pine, White Pine and Blue Spruce trees, wreathes and roping M-F 2:30-9:30pm, Sat. Noon-9pm, Sun. Noon-6pm. Visa and MasterCard accepted with proper ID. Volunteers are needed to help with the sale. Call Tracie at 491-6957.

Christmas Remembrances – forms are available in the back of church for names to be remembered in the Christmas bulletin. Contributions will be used for Christmas flower decorations. Please complete the form and return to the church office or place in the collection basket no later than Sunday, December 17th!!

FYI: the Christmas Mass schedule will be:

December 23-24 -Fourth Sunday of Advent: Regular Mass Schedule 4:00 p.m - 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

December 24th -Christmas Eve: 5:00 p.m. and the traditional Midnight Mass (music begins at 11:30)

December 25th - Christmas Day: 10:30 a.m.

The Feast of Mary, Mother of God is not a day of obligation this year but we will have a Mass on January 1st at 12:00 Noon

Retirement Fund for Religious: Skilled care and assisted living expenses for religious past age 70 exceed $450 million each year. Please consider a donation to the care of our elderly and ill religious. Please place your donation in with the regular collection in the envelope provided. Thank you.

St. Mary School reminds you that we have a Paper Recycling Program! Look for the green & yellow bin on the church parking lot. We accept: newspapers, magazines, wrapping paper, mail, shopping catalogues, all school & office papers. We cannot accept: cardboard, phone books, plastic, metal, glass, trash. Don’t worry about staples and paperclips. You don’t need to bundle or bag your paper—just drop it in the bin.

Jordan Conference – The next Jordan Conference (Baptism preparation) is January 23, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the church.

Youth Group Events - On Sunday, December 17th, the Youth Group will have a Christmas gathering in the parish office building from 5 to 8 p.m.  Bring your favorite snack to share.  Drinks will be provided.
