procedures and train those who have never served in this ministry before.

fasting and almsgiving.
Fasting: There was an error in
the Growing in Faith insert. Under the One Minute Meditation it should
read:
Lenten
abstinence: According to Canon 1252, all Catholics after their 14th
birthday are required to abstain from eating meat on Ash Wednesday, Good
Friday, and the Fridays during Lent. Those not required to abstain are
encouraged to engage in some form of penance in the spirit of the season.
Choir: singers and
instrumentalist are invited to join the 9:00 or 11:30 choir during the
Lenten season / Easter Services. For additional information on dates and time

Planning? Natural Family Planning classes are available
through the Family Life Office. Instructors are couples nationally certified by
the Diocesan Development Program for NFP, United States Conference of Catholic
Bishops. The classes provide instruction in the Sympto-Thermal method. Five-class workshops will be offered at: St.

Registrations are now
available for the seventh annual CATHOLIC YOUTH SUMMER CAMP. Camp is from
July 22-27 for high school students (current 8th - 12th
graders) and July 29 - August 3 for Junior High (current 5th - 7th
graders) students. This six-day resident camp features high adventure
activities such as jet skis, tubing, horseback riding, canoeing, and mountain
biking in a supportive, Catholic environment. The evening features the
band “Fiery Fish,” along with fun games, humorous skits, moving dramas, and
inspiring talks around the call of Jesus to “Come Follow Me.” To get more
