Young-at-Heart Lenten Project: Collecting toilet tissue and soap products for St. Francis Center, McArthur, Ohio. Items may be left in the main entrance of church. Arrangement for donations of larger items (clothing, household items, etc.) may be made by calling 443-6154 or 443-1032.

Flower Remembrance Forms are available in the back of Church.  The money donated goes to pay for the Easter flowers.  Names of loved ones will be put in the Easter bulletin.  April 1^st is the deadline for flower remembrance forms to be turned in. 

The Holy Triduum Schedule:

Reminder: Good Friday is a day of fast and abstinence.

All are invited to stay for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament following the Holy Thursday Mass.

Listening Session: Father Thomas would like to hear from any and all parishioners about their ideas for parish life here, about their concerns, or their questions and suggestions. He has been meeting with various committees and boards, but has not yet had a chance to hear from a broader audience. He will meet in church with those who wish to remain after the 4:00 p.m. Mass April 14^th. He will meet in the gym at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday the 15^th. Members of boards and committees are especially encouraged to attend so that they too can hear other’s input.

Daily Mass Schedule: Please note some minor changes in the schedule of daily Masses for the next two weeks. The noon Mass time rather than the 8:30 a.m. time will be more standard. The next school Mass will be on April 18^th.

Youth Group Meeting and Retreat: High School students and 7^th and 8^th graders are invited to tonight’s (Sunday) meeting of the youth group from 7:00  to 8:30 p.m. in the Atrium. There will be a presentation about an overnight retreat to be offered on April 28^th and 29^th.

Anointing of The Sick: The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be administered after all the Masses on March 31^st and April 1^st

Walking Stations of the Cross in downtown Columbus – those interested in walking these stations please meet in our parking lot at 7:30 a.m.

Reminder: Mass on Holy Saturday is at 9:00 p.m. there is no 4:00 p.m. Mass Holy Saturday.

Gala: Free child care will be offered to our parish and school families who will be attending the May 20^th Gala.  Do you have your ticket yet?

St. Mary School Notes…

·       Registration for the 2007-08 school year - grades PK through 8 is underway. If you would like an application or more information about St. Mary School please call the school office at 444-8994.

·       St. Mary Music Department presents a Musical Review on Saturday, March 31 @ 7:00 pm. Adults, $3.00 /students $1.00. Our current 5th and 8th graders will present highlights from our last six spring dramas, including Annie, Guys and Dolls, and Godspell. Please join us!

·       St. Mary Home & School Association will once again be holding its annual Spring Flower Sale.  We'll have order forms available in the back of church in a week or two; all orders due in by Thursday, April 26. Flowers delivered on Thursday, May 10. We'd love to help you beautify your yard!

·       St. Mary School Community Walk for Diabetes: Please join us in our walk thru Schiller Park and the German Village community. We would like for any of our parents, Grandparents, and parishioners to join us in an effort to raise awareness for Diabetes and the importance of staying fit. We will be meeting one of the goals for our wellness Policy.

If anyone would like to make a donation to the American Diabetes Association feel free to do so by sending a check/money order in an envelope to school by April 13, 2007. Also, if you would like to honor someone who has diabetes send in the name(s) on a piece of paper to Mrs. Fackler (School nurse) or Miss Johnson (P.E. Teacher) by April 13^th. Those names will be listed on a poster (In Honor of) that we will carry on our walk.
