Attention All Young
Adults:
Mark your calendars for Tuesday May 8, 2007 from 7:30-9:00pm. Young adults from across the diocese are
meeting here at St. Mary’s rectory for a social,
and a presentation by Father Thomas on “Being Catholic in
the Workplace” with discussion and conversation after. This is a great
way to meet other young adults in our parish and diocese and a great way to

MONDAY CONFESSIONS…will be heard by Father Thomas whenever he celebrates noon mass on Monday. He will go
into the confessional at about 12:20 and wait a few minutes to see if
anyone comes. He will not be here May 21. No Confessions …will be heard on May 26th.
OUR YOUTH GROUP…meets tonight (Sunday) at 7:00 in the Atrium. All high
school students and 7th and 8th graders are welcome to
attend. Refreshments will be served. The next Jesus Jam is May 20th.
We can provide transportation to St. Agatha IF youths call in advance.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: Some young people of the parish will
be receiving First Holy Communion at the 4:00 p.m. Mass on May 12th. If you
like to avoid crowds, you may wish to worship at one of the morning Masses that
weekend.
The 2007 Bishop’s Annual
Appeal begins
this weekend, May 5 & 6. All St. Mary’s parishioners were
sent a letter from Father Thomas regarding this appeal. Enclosed
with the letter was your pledge envelope. Please drop it in the collection or
mail it back to the parish as soon as you are able. If you did not receive your
letter please call the parish at 445-9668; there is a possibility that you may
not be registered!
ST. Mary’s 2007 target amount
for The Bishop’s Annual Appeal is $43,539.98. In order to reach our goal please
consider a gift of a sacrificial nature. Remember, any amount donated exceeding
our parish goal returns to the parish once the pledges are completely paid in
full. This has been a huge help to parish finances in recent years.

Pianist Caroline Besana Salido Richardson, parishioner will present a faculty
recital at 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2007,at the Battelle Fine Arts Center’s Riley
Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public. Currently,
Dr. Salido Richardson serves as a Faculty Associate in Piano at OtterbeinCollege in Westerville, performs extensively as a
soloist and teaches piano at The Piano Arts Studio, her private studio, in
Blacklick.
THERE IS NO BINGO MAY 20…so that our
faithful volunteers can attend the Gala. As a matter of fact, there may be no
more bingo at all if we do not get some more volunteers to donate about three

Hunger On Weekends…is a problem among some of the homeless in the area. If you are
approached for food money around the church, please tell them that the Faith
Mission serves three meals on Saturday and Sunday, and persons do not have to
be residents of the facility at 151 N. 5th.

and school families who will be attending the Gala. We are sorry that we
