from the Southside Community Ministries Food Pantry. They are here to express
their appreciation for St. Mary’s support of the Food Pantry. Seven churches
form the support of SSCM. St. Mary’s is responsible to man the food pantry on
the second to the last Saturday of each month, and we need more volunteers.

2nd Annual St. Leo Homecoming Mass - St. Leo Statue Dedication on
“The Last Things . . .” Series Offered in
October
St. Agatha Catholic
Church,
Beginning with “How do we talk about mystery?” on October 7, Father
Edmund Hussey will continue presentations/discussions on: “Is death natural or
unnatural?”; “Heaven or hell: We are programmed for Heaven”; and “The end of
the world: Will we be caught up in the Rapture?” on the remaining October
Sundays.
Fr. Hussey is a retired seminary professor and pastor of the Archdiocese
of Cincinnati. The author of many books,
reviews, and articles. His discussions will reflect on the passage through the
gateway of death into eternity.
