be published soon. This little booklet includes parish organizations and
contact numbers for committee chairs, as well as all parish families and their
contact information. If you do not want your phone number listed please call
the parish office. This is the 7th year we have provided this
booklet to our parishioners.

Volunteer
for Service Saturday October 27 from 9am until 3:00pm. In conjunction with Ohio’s Make a Difference Day,
volunteers will help work on house projects throughout central Ohio for the elderly and most vulnerable
among us. We will meet at St. Mary’s between 8:30 and 9:00 AM for training and assignments.
Lunch will be provided at your work site. Can’t volunteer? Tax deductible
gifts to St. Mary’s (indicate Service Saturday in the memo section): all money

The 2nd Annual 4-S Club
Golf Outing, held
on Sept. 23 was a huge success. The weather was glorious, golfers and guests
had a fabulous time and the event raised $15,000. Many thanks to all those who
donated, sponsored, volunteered, and participated in this year’s event! A
special thanks to Mr. Bob Dolder, Mr. Mike Sergio and the 4-S Golf
Committee!Your support helps SaintMarySchool and the families in need of tuition
assistance.
Bring your own cookie
dough! A community baking party will be held in the school
cafeteria at 10:00am on Sunday, October 28th. We will work together to bake 150 dozen
chocolate chip cookies for the Kairos Prison Ministry. Everyone is
welcome! Cookie sheets will be provided; please bring chocolate chip cookie
dough balls from Sam’s Club or GFS, apron, pot holders and a spatula. Can’t
join us? Donations of cookie dough are most welcome. Call Cecelia Reis at
784-0405.
Young-at-Heart will make their Fall trip to St.FrancisCenter, McArthur, Ohio on Monday, October 22nd. Needed items: toilet tissue and soap products,
winter clothing: sweaters, jackets, jeans, etc., please do not bring summer
clothing. Items may be left in the container at the main entrance of church.
Furniture and other large items can be picked-up. Call 443-6154 or 443-1032 for
pick-up information.
Pumpkin Pickin’: All youth in grades 7th-12th should make
reservations for our trip to Circle S Farms on Sunday, October 28th.
We will leave at 4:30 to enjoy a hayride and pick a pumpkin. We will return to
St. Mary’s for pizza and dessert. The cost
is $5.00. Permission slips from the back of church must be turned in by
October 21.
Work while your kids are in school! We are seeking cafeteria lunch workers for ReadyHigh School, M-F. Please call Sarah at 614-985-2215.
TEMPORARY SCHEDULE CHANGES
This week, there will be no confessions on Monday. There
will be noon mass on Monday, but no mass on Tuesday, one mass at 9:45 on Wednesday,
no mass on Thursday, and noon mass on Friday. There will be
no mass on Tuesday, October 23rd due to the clergy conference at the
Josephinum. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
Reminder: The Columbus Marathon is Sunday
October 21st before and during our 9am Mass.You might consider taking alternate routes (Livingston to Mohawk to access the Church
parking lot.

Our current bingo volunteers
need to be joined by some more folks if we are to continue the games.
Bingo netted about $50,000 for our parish last year. If you can give
about two hours a month on Sunday evening, please call our church office at
445-9668. Without bingo last year, our budget would have been about
$52,000 in the red.
