The Sacrament of Penance will be celebrated:

December 16 at 2:00 here at our penance service.

December 16 at 5:30 at St. Brigid’s

December 18 and 20 at 11:15 at St. Joseph Cathedral

SPECIAL ST. LEO EVENT: Mass will be celebrated at noon on December 22^nd. The St. Leo crèche (without the holy family) will be blessed. There will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 5:00 to 6:00pm that same day. Watch for other opportunities to visit the crèche in the Christmas season.

Can you assist? Readers, distributors and servers are asked to sign up today for assignments at Christmas masses. Look for the sign up sheets near portrait of our bishop and pope.

Christmas Music: The Christmas Eve 4:00 p.m. Family Mass invites you to participate in the music of the Mass. Choir and instrumentalists should come to rehearsal December 16^th from 12:45 to 1:45. A third rehearsal time is yet to be announced. Please plan to attend at least 2 of the 3 rehearsals and be in place and ready to sing at 3:30 p.m. on the 24^th!

FYI: the Christmas Mass schedule will be:

December 22-23 -Fourth Sunday of Advent: Regular Mass Schedule 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

December 24^th -Christmas Eve: 4:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and the traditional Midnight Mass

December 25^th - Christmas Day: 10:00 a.m.

The Feast of Mary, Mother of God is a day of obligation this year. Mass on January 1^st is at 10:00 a.m.
