ECO (Electronic Contributions Option) Program is always open for new sign-ups. See the information at the rear of church or call the parish office. ECO –schedule: Weekly, January 28, February 4, 11, 18, 25; Bi-weekly: February 11, 25; Monthly February 1 or 15.

INFANT BAPTISM OPPORTUNITIES: Father Thomas or one of our parish deacons will be able to administer the Sacrament of Baptism for your child on the following dates:

February 3rd - during the 9:00 Mass

March 23rd - during both Easter Sunday Masses

April 12th - after the 4:00 Mass

We usually do not offer baptism opportunities during Lent, but exceptions can be made if this causes difficulty for families. For parishioners to schedule a baptism, they need to call Cindy Oddi at the parish office at 445-9668.  A brief class on baptism is required if parents have never attended one before.

·       The next Jordan Conference is Tuesday, January 29th. Call the parish office to register.

Help Needed: Want a more active participation in the music of the liturgy, but unable to fully commit to joining one of the choirs?  Have you considered being a cantor at the Saturday 4:00 PM Mass?  If you are interested in this ministry, please contact Sandy Brown at (614) 443-3234.

The February Fellowship Dinner hosted by Father Thomas is scheduled for February 12, 2008. If interested in attending please sign the sign up sheet located under the pictures of Bishop Campbell and our Holy Father.

Ladies:  Save the date!  The first Columbus Catholic Women's Conference: "Forgiveness and Healing," will be held Saturday, February 16, 2008 at St. Andrew Church. The day begins with Mass at 8:15 and concludes with a blessing at 2:00. The sacrament of Reconciliation is available from 10:15 until the final blessing. Register online at www.columbuscatholicwomen.com. The cost of $20 (before January 31st) includes a light lunch.

Youth Group Pizza Bake: Come Sunday evening February 3rd at 5:30 to bake a pizza or two in the Atrium meeting room near the church elevator.  You can get home in time to watch the Superbowl or watch it here on a big projection screen.

FYI:  Ash Wednesday, February 6th Mass schedule: 9:45 a.m., 12 Noon, and 7:00 p.m. Ashes distributed at all Masses.

Your envelope packet has changed. We have eliminated many envelopes. The Catholic Times Subscription envelope will only be in once, in the February packet. Catholic Times new and renewal subscription is $15.00.

Knights of Columbus Dinner: K of C Council 5429 will gather for dinner on Saturday, February 9th at St. Mary’s gym in German Village.  Spouses and dates are welcome, and widows of Knights are especially encouraged to come.  There is no charge. Soft drinks, coffee and tea will be provided.  And all may BYOB or coolers of your favorite refreshments.  Snacks will begin at 6:00 and dinner will follow.  RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED before February 6th.  Please clip the form below and mail to St. Mary’s at 684 S. 3rd St.  43206.
