Ever Consider College Seminary? An endowment in the name of St. Mary Church earned about $1700 last year.  The endowment is restricted to assisting a member of St. Mary parish who is studying for the priesthood.  In the diocese of Columbus, seminarians are responsible for their own college education.  The diocese picks up the bills once a seminarian finishes college and enters into the last four years of preparation for priesthood.  Call Father Thomas if you would like to discuss priesthood.

Youth Group Meeting:  All high school students and our 7th and 8th graders are invited to a youth group meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 13 in the Atrium. A brief film will be followed by discussion and refreshments.

ODD DAILY MASS TIMES OCCUR THIS WEEK…

in that Tuesday’s mass is moved to 9:45, and Wednesday has just one mass at 9:45. Another one time change will occur later in the month when the April 22nd mass is moved to April 24th.

THANK YOU… The St. Vincent de Paul collection from last weekends Masses generated $876.00 to meet the needs of those less fortunate.

THANK YOU to everyone who attended the Daughters of Erin Irish Breakfast. It was a huge success and we look forward to being back at St. Mary’s next year.

WELCOME Ann Anderson, our new parish secretary.  Ann has moved from parishioner and volunteer to parish secretary.  She is the warm voice you hear when you call in to the parish offices.  Ann is a convert to the Catholic Church having gone through our RCIA program five years ago.  She has coordinated our welcoming committee and fellowship dinner for years!  Who better to welcome people who come to the office than the head of the welcoming committee!  She also was volunteering in the office on a regular basis before becoming secretary.  Ann is an extraordinary minister and regularly attends the 11:30 a.m. Mass. She is a mother of two and a grandmother of six. She is learning the job fast and is a great addition to the St. Mary’s staff (keeping Father and Jason in line!). Her email is ann@stmarygv.com. Please make her feel welcome.
