annual FAMILY CAKE DECORATING CONTEST, Monday, April 21, as part of our Right
to Read Week celebration. Our theme this year is based on the ocean: “Ride the
Reading Wave!” Families may bake and decorate a cake based on a book or a
reading theme. Lots of prizes! Parishioners are also invited to view or
purchase cakes on display during the school day,

SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS
The St. Mary School Advisory Board
is accepting nominations for two elected parishioner positions which expire
this June. The SAB meets once a month, and a term is three years. If you are
interested and would like to be on the ballot, please contact SAB President Tom
Martello at 279-9440, or by e-mail at tfm2@sprynet.com. The deadline for submissions is
ECO (Electronic Contributions Option) Program is always open for new
sign-ups. See the information at the rear of church or call the parish office.
STILL TIME TO ENJOY GREAT MUSIC
As this
bulletin went to press, there were still some tickets left for the Aaron Diehl
concert at
PLAN FOR AN EXTRA PLANT
When laying
out your vegetable garden this year, why not plant an extra plant or two whose
produce can be given to the food pantry St. Mary’s supports? The
Southside Community Ministries feeds the needy each Saturday with take home
sacks of staple items. With your help, they can add some fresh produce to
the sacks. Our parish operates the pantry on the second to last Saturday
of each month. Contact Jeanne Sauer at 253-6815 for additional information.
PART TIME OPENING: The Diocese of Columbus is searching
for a qualified person to serve as the administrative secretary for the
Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (DCCW). Qualifications required: high school diploma
