campaign on behalf of tuition assistance and the restoration of our historic
buildings has surpassed $200,000 in pledges toward our goal of $450,000 over
three years. Any pledges now will be returned 100% to meet our two main
goals here. Pledge cards are in the pews and can be filled out and

PLANAHEAD
On October 13, 14 and 15, St. Mary’s will enjoy an evening
parish retreat, also known as a Parish Mission. Father John Collins of the
Paulist Fathers will speak each evening on the theme of events in our lives in
which we experience God. Father Thomas says Father Collins is the best mission
preacher he has ever heard, and he asks that all organizations, committees and
clubs clear those dates so that their members are able to come to the mission
talks.
JULY PLANNING SESSIONS
On July 13, 20 and 27, at 10:00 a.m. all interested parishioners are invited
to participate in a parish self study authored by the diocese. We will take the
results of our study to a meeting with our fellow deanery parishes (St. Mary
Groveport, St. Ladislas, Corpus Christi) to propose ideas to the diocese
about how these parishes can best serve the people of our area.

ST. MARY CLASS OF 2008
Parents,
family and friends of St. Mary you are warmly invited to celebrate the graduating
class of 2008 on June 3rd, 2008 as they conclude their years at St.
Mary with a baccalaureate mass at 9:45 a.m. in the church, an Honors assembly
at 1:15 p.m. in the school gymnasium, and graduation ceremonies at 7:00 p.m. in
the church, with a reception in the gym immediately following.
To the
graduating 8th graders we extend our best wishes and prayers as they
go on to high school. May God’s blessings and peace be with each of you.
KINGS ISLAND OUTING
High School
Students and current 7th and 8th graders are welcome to
join the youth group on an outing to KingsIsland on Tuesday, June 17th.
The cost is $30.00 and includes transportation. We will leave here at 9:00 in the morning and depart the park
at 8:00 in the evening for the ride home. Reservations and payment
must be made by June 11th. Call Father Thomas at 445-9668. We will
provide sandwiches at 11:00, but folks will need food money for
inside the park.

The Western
Knight football program is seeking a head coach for grades 4-5 and assistant
coaches for grades 4-5 and 7-8 for the 2008 football season. Please contact Bob
