started this fall. This program is for children who have not received the
Sacraments of Baptism or First Communion.
It is also for children who are not Catholic, but would like to be so.
We are in urgent need of one or two
dedicated instructors. Please call Jason at 445-9668 for more information or if

January 24th, 2009 at The Columbus Athenaeum.
The Gala Committee is beginning to plan next year’s event and would love your
help! Due to all of the many volunteers, donors, and attendees this past year’s
Gala was an amazing success! We raised $33,000 for our St. Mary parish school!
How you would like to participate in next year’s Gala? Have someone in mind for
the Honorary Chair or Honored Guest of the evening? For more information on how to donate auction
items, be a sponsor, volunteer on one of the committees, make a donation, sell
scholarship raffle tickets, buy or sell a program ad, or simply help promote
the event go to our Web site www.stmarygv.com or call
444-8994.
PLAN
AHEAD
On
October 13,14 and 15, St. Mary’s will enjoy an evening parish retreat, also
known as a Parish Mission. Father John Collins of the Paulist Fathers will
speak each evening on the theme of events in our lives in which we experience
God. Father Thomas says Father Collins is the best mission preacher he has ever heard, and he asks that all organizations, committees and clubs clear those dates so
that their members are able to come to the mission talks.
