HUMAN DEVELOPMENT
Next Sunday, Nov. 23rd is the annual Catholic
Campaign for Human Development. Please give as generously as you can toward
this anti-poverty program that is aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty.

YOUTH GROUP MEETING TONIGHT
The Youth
Group (students in grades 7 through 12) will meet tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the
parish office building. We will have a brief film, some discussion, and
refreshments. Father Thomas needs a substitute chaperone on November 16th.

at 2:00 p.m. the annual Maennerchor Concert.
December 7th from
6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. enjoy the annual Village Lights outside and a hand bell
concert here.
December 13th
at 7:00 p.m., the Village Singers perform at the Meeting Haus.

- Confessions in Polish at 2:00 p.m.; Mass in Polish at 3:00 p.m., and a
violin and piano concert at 4:00 p.m.
NEWS FROM ST. LEO
November 20th
at 6:00 p.m. Father Stash Dailey, a newly ordained priest
this year, will be celebrating a mass in honor of the dead of St. Leo
Parish and for all of our loved ones.
December 5th
at 8:00p.m. - St. Leo Church - The Magpie Christmas Concert - A
concert of traditional Advent and winter songs from all over Europe. The
music tells the Christmas story.
THEOLOGY
Catholic
young adults - do you want to learn more about your faith and meet others who
share it? Join us for Theology and a Pub on Tuesday, November 18! This month's topic is Poverty: One Word,
So Many Meanings. Our speaker will be Fr. Kevin Lutz of Holy Family. Doors
open at 6 p.m. and the discussion begins at 7:30 at Gresso's, 961 South High
Street in German Village. Admission is free, and food and drink are available
for purchase.

GALA NEWS: TUITION RAFFLE
TICKETS ON SALE
The annual St. Mary’s Gala is approaching and
again this year we will offer the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a
$5,000.00 tuition scholarship. Tickets are $20.00 each with only 500 tickets being sold. Tickets
will be sold by Gala committee members and can be purchased at the parish
office. More news forthcoming on this event.
BOOK CLUB:
Sunday, December 7th at 10AM
The
Book Club - sponsored by S.M.A.C. but open to Adults of
10
a.m. between the 9:00 and 11:30 Masses. There will be a different book
selection each month (Note: the January date has been cancelled and will resume
in February). Please meet at the St. Mary School Cafeteria for
"Coffee & Donuts" and Book Club discussion. December's Book
Club Selection is "Unwrapping Christmas" By Lori Copeland. Feel free
to come to as many or few book clubs as you are able to attend and bring a

MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER

ZOO LIGHTS
High School
Students and 7th and 8th graders from our school and
parish are welcome to go to see the lights at the zoo on Sunday, November 23. The cost is $5.00 and reservations are
required (call 445-9668). There will be supper in the Atrium at 5:00, and then
the group will board a bus for the trip to the zoo. Please call before
Wednesday, Nov. 19th to reserve you spot.

fundraiser!); however, we are in need of more volunteers to keep this fund
