CORPUS CHRISTI OPPORTUNITIES
On June 14, Corpus Christi and St. Ladislas parishes will have a joint
celebration of the Feast of Corpus Christi. There will be Mass at Corpus
Christi at 10:00 a.m., followed by a procession around the church and a pancake
breakfast, all at Corpus Christi. Here at St. Mary’s, there will be
exposition and benediction from 3:30 to 4:30 with a procession around the block
or around the church, followed by some wine, cheese and snacks. Join us
at one or both celebrations.
MARK your CALENDARS
Are you interested in learning about the Catholic faith? Are you
looking into joining the Church? Are you a Catholic who has been away for
a while? Then the Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA) is for you.
It begins with a cook-out on August 19th,
at 6 p.m. on the back patio of Father’s house (to the right of the Church
when facing it from 3rd street). You can bring any support
that you need. RCIA sessions will be held each Wednesday starting at 7
p.m. Attending the classes does not obligate you to entering the Church
at Easter. We look forward to seeing you in August!

WOMEN’S RESPITE PROGRAM….Can you volunteer some of your time? Volunteers are
needed to help set-up, transport, serve meals, bake cookies, or clean-up for
the Women’s Respite Program to be held at the St. Theresa’s Shrine from
Tuesday, July 14, through Saturday, July 18.
Any time that you can give throughout the day or evening is needed. The Women’s Respite Program is sponsored
through the St. Stephen’s Community Center.
The purpose of the program is to invite women to come together in a safe
place for a mini-vacation. Through the
hospitality and efforts of volunteers, each woman can have time to herself or
with others and experience creativity and spirituality that they cannot always
enjoy in their everyday lives. If you
want to help or need more information, please contact Debbie Pecinovsky at
868-8208 or at deblpec@sbcglobal.net .

BELLS of ST.
Thank you to the generosity of parishioners we have pledged $95,
480.00 for 2009-2010 campaign. 100% of the monies
collected over our BAA goal of $48,000 stays right here at St. Mary’s!
Our goal for St. Mary’s is $150,000 a year over a three (3) year
period. These monies will be used for historic preservation of our
buildings and tuition assistance for those in need to attend our school.
Some possible visible building repairs needed are: Specht Center windows,
carpet in the sanctuary of the church, sidewalks in front of church and school,
etc. If you have not pledged or given to this important campaign please
prayerfully consider doing so. Campaign cards and brochures are in the
pews. If you already pledged, nothing further is required. We
appreciate your generosity!
