MARK your CALENDARS
Are you interested in learning about the Catholic faith? Are you
looking into joining the Church? Are you a Catholic who has been away for
a while? Did you miss Confirmation? Then the Rite of Christian Initiation
(RCIA) is for you. It begins with a cook-out on August 19th, at 6:30 p.m. on the back patio of Father’s
house (to the right of the Church when facing it from 3rd
street). You can bring any support that you need. RCIA sessions will
be held each Wednesday starting at 7:00 p.m. Attending the classes does
not obligate you to entering the Church at Easter. We look forward to
seeing you in August!

THANKSGIVING FOR OUR FATHERS WE PRAY…..Beloved God, we thank you for giving us Dad and for the many ways he
shows us your fatherly care. On this, his special day, we ask you to bless him
with your peace and joy. Give him the strength and understanding that he needs
to care for us as a family. Help us to appreciate more all he does for us and
to show him how much we love him. Amen.
BELLS of ST.
Thanks to the generosity of parishioners we have met our goal of $48,000 for the 2009-10 BAA campaign. Our goal for St. Mary’s is $150,000 a year
over a three (3) year period. 100%
of the monies collected over our BAA goal stay here at St. Mary. These monies
will be used for historic preservation of our buildings and tuition assistance
for those in need to attend our school. If you have not pledged or given to
this important campaign please prayerfully consider doing so. Campaign
cards and brochures are in the rear of the church near the picture of Pope
Benedict. If you already pledged, nothing further is required. We
appreciate your generosity.
