GRANDPARENT’S
The
Marriage and Family Life Office reminds you that Sunday, September 13 is Grandparents Day. In our grandparents we
have sensed and felt the thread of history and the treasure of tradition that
lies within our families. May they be blessed for their hard work and faith,
which are our inheritance. We pray that those who guided our early steps and called
forth our talents be richly rewarded by God, our Divine Parent.
FAMILY
The
Marriage and Family Life Office asks you to make note that Monday, September 28 has been set aside as “Family Day - A Day to Eat Dinner with Your Children.” Join families
across the country in sitting down that evening to eat together, without hurry
or distraction. Rediscover the sacredness of the family meal.
Lord,
it is good to be together. We thank you for the love we share as we share this
meal. May it strengthen us to live in service, Amen.
