The topic for this week is “The History of the Church”, presented

quarterly Jordon Conference session for parents who wish to have a child

MAKE A DIFFERENCE
St. Mary will again partner with
Catholic Social Services in reaching out to serve the disabled and older adults
of our community with projects around their home. The annual Make a Difference Day will be held on Saturday,
Oct. 24th. We will gather at St. Mary at 9:00 a.m. Last year we
had an outstanding turn out for this effort and were able to accomplish such
projects as raking leaves, repairing gutters, washing windows, painting, and
installing handrails for personal safety. Make a Difference Day is the largest
national day set aside for helping others. We need your help again this year,
please sign up on the sheet located under the pictures of Pope Benedict and

64TH DIOCESAN COUNCIL of CATHOLIC WOMEN CONVENTION…will be
held on Saturday, Oct. 31st
at St. Thomas Church in Zanesville, OH from 9:00 a.m. to
3:00 p.m. The cost is
$25.oo and includes a continental breakfast and lunch. The keynote speaker is
Marcus Grodi, seen regularly on EWTN. There will be a special mass with Bishop
Campbell followed by afternoon speakers, Julie Wong and Danielle Merry. For

Wrestling 2009-2010. Open to boys in grades 1-8 (teams for

9. There will be a meeting for all
wrestlers and their parents in the Bishop Hartley High School cafeteria at 6:00pm on November 9th.Registration

Ø Fall Open House at Hartley will be
held on Thursday, November 5th beginning at 7:00p.m.

Open House for all eighth-grade boys and their parents will be held at St.
Charles on Sunday, Nov. 1st.
The main program will begin at 1:00
p.m. in the school’s Campus Theatre, at 2010 East Broad Street in Bexley.
Afterward there will be an opportunity to speak with faculty
members, coaches, students, alumni, and advisory board members. School and
campus tours will be conducted and refreshments served. Please call

fellowship. The evening will consist of a featured wine and wine instruction, a
raffle, a brief talk on why we believe
