Take a new look at intimacy by enrolling in an Natural Family Planning workshop, offered through
the Marriage and Family Life Office and hosted by St. Paul the Apostle Parish,
Westerville. The five-session workshop begins Wednesday evening, January
13, 2010, 7 - 9 pm, and continues on January 27,
February 10, March 10, and April 14. The registration is only $60 per
couple and includes all instructional materials; financial assistance is

RESPECT LIFE MASS-DAY OF PENANCE
& PRAYER
At 10:30 a.m. on Friday,
January 22, 2010, Bishop Campbell will celebrate mass at St. Joseph
Cathedral in observance of the “day of penance for violations to the dignity of
the human person committed through acts of abortion, and of prayer for the full
restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life”. This day of penance
and prayer falls on the anniversary of the January 22, 1973, U.S. Supreme Court
decision Roe v. Wade. All are invited

Campbell, Bishop of Columbus as he presents the Columbus Diocese 2010 Catholic
Man of the Year Award. You will be inspired and strengthened to continue living
your vocation as a Catholic man after hearing the tremendous story of this
year's winner. Mark your calendar for: Fri.,
Feb. 5th, at St. Patrick Church, following the 11:45 a.m. Mass
with the program concluding at 1:15 p.m. Reservations are not needed. The cost
is $10 for adults and $5 for students to cover the meal and meeting costs.
NEWS FROM AREA HIGH SCHOOLS
Bishop Ready High School is sponsoring a Youth Basketball Cheerleading Camp
at the school on Wed. and Thur., Feb. 10 and 11, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. The camp is for girls ages 4 through 13
(through 8th grade). Cost per
participant is $40; those who register on or before the deadline of Monday,
January 25, will receive a gift.
Participants will take part in a cheerleading performance at the Ready

St. Charles Preparatory School will offer its annual scholarship test to
prospective students at 9 a.m. and
1 p.m. on Saturday,
January 30. The test results are used to determine who will receive
academically-based scholarships and grants offered by the school to its
students for the 2010-2011 school year. For the 2009-10
school year alone, St. Charles is providing more than $1 million in
academic and financial aid to its students.
The test is open to all eighth grade boys in
Franklin or
the other surrounding counties that compromise Central
Ohio. Anyone interested must register by calling
Laurie Berndt in the school office at 614-252-6714 between
8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
