The topic for this week is “The Sacrament of Holy Orders” presented
by our seminarians, Kevin Grimditch and Brendan Johnson. Due to a scheduling
conflict the January 27th session will be held at Gresso’s at 7:00 p.m. Sessions are open
t0 anyone interested in learning more about your Catholic faith. All are

Frederick F. Campbell, Bishop of Columbus as he presents the Columbus Diocese
2010 Catholic Man of the Year Award. You will be inspired and strengthened to
continue living your vocation as a Catholic man after hearing the tremendous story
of this year's winner. Mark your calendar for: Fri., Feb. 5th, at St. Patrick Church, following the
11:45 a.m. mass with the program concluding at 1:15 p.m. Reservations are not
needed. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for students to cover the meal and
meeting costs.
ANNULMENT
PROCESS PRESENTATION
The Diocesan Marriage and Family Life Office is
sponsoring “Understanding the Annulment Process,” Friday, February
12, 7:00 p.m., at St. John Neumann Church, 9633 East State Route 37,
Sunbury, OH 43074. Msgr. John K. Cody, JCL, Adjutant Judicial Vicar of the
Diocese of Columbus Tribunal, will explain the Church’s position on divorce
and give an overview on the annulment procedure. There is no fee, but
pre-registration is requested. Contact the Marriage and Family Life Office

Sunday throughout the year is set aside to collect for St. Vincent de Paul.

a preview of Gala Silent Auction items! Stop by the Atrium after Mass
this weekend to check out many of the wonderful items available at the Gala
& Silent Auction. Even if you are unable to attend the Gala, you can still
make a bid on an item.
YOUNG ADULTS… are invited to a gathering at Gresso’s, the first
Thursday in February, Feb. 4th, at 7:00 p.m. Please mark your calendar and plan on
attending. This is a great opportunity
to network with other fellow Catholics and to learn about your faith.
On a separate note young adults should also mark
their calendar for a conference on
Saturday, April 10th, at Christ the King church. The cost is

MAINTENANCE UPDATES
Thanks to your generosity during the Bells of St.
Mary’s Campaign, we are beginning to make improvements to our beautiful church
and grounds. Recently, we made much needed repairs to our boiler in the Burkley
center. You will start to see in the
weeks and months ahead some improvement made to the interior of the
church. Stay tuned and keep an eye
out! Again, these improvements are only
possible because of your generous donations!
BIBLE STUDY
Are you interested in learning about the word of
God? The St. Mary’s Bible study will be finishing 1st Corinthians
and moving on to 2nd Corinthians.
If you would like to join the study please mark your calendars for
February 24th and join us for a social at Plank’s on Parsons Avenue.
Bible study meets every Weds. at 6:00 p.m. and all are welcome! You do not need
to have read or studied 1st Corinthians to participate.
