DIOCESAN RESPECT LIFE CONFERENCE….

nationally renowned speaker, Fr. Tadeusz Pacholczyk, Ph.D., Director of

conference will be held on Saturday, March 6th from 9:00 a.m. to

LENTEN MEAL BEFORE
STATIONS
Corpus Christi and St. Ladislas parishes cordially invite our friends
from St. Mary to join us for a Lenten soup and bread supper on the following
Fridays of Lent: Friday March 5, (St.
Ladislas Parish), Friday March 12, (Corpus Christi Parish), and Friday
March 26, (St. Ladislas Parish). At
St. Ladislas, the supper will be held in the gathering place adjacent to the
church sanctuary and at Corpus Christi in the social area adjacent to Corpus
Christi church sanctuary. This supper will be held from 5:30-6:30 prior to Stations
of the Cross. A free will offering is optional. Please join us! For more

AREA HIGH SCHOOL UPDATE
The following Bishop
Hartley High School students from St. Mary Parish made Honor Roll for the
2nd Quarter: Erin E. Collins, Alec Kaple, Aliyah McConahay, Anne Minner, and
Colton Plageman. Students must achieve a Grade Point Average of 3.5 or higher
on a 4.0 scale in order to be named to the Honor Roll.

Charles Preparatory School will
hold auditions for its spring musical, Children of Eden by Stephen
Schwartz on Wednesday and Thursday, March 3rd and 4th at
4:00 p.m. at the St. Charles Campus Theater, 2010 East Broad St. Auditions are

SCHOOL NEWS
The 32nd annual St. Mary of Ohio
Basketball tournament is right around the corner. The tournament will be held
over two weekends, Friday, Mar. 5th beginning at 5:00 p.m. and
Saturday, Mar. 6th beginning at 8:00 a.m. the 6th grade
boys and the 8th girls will compete.
The following weekend, Friday, Mar. 12th beginning at 6:00
p.m. and Saturday, Mar. 13th beginning at 8:00 a.m. the 8th
grade boys will take to the hardwood. We will host St. Mary school teams from
all over Ohio. Come and enjoy some great competition and support our young
athletes.
VINO et VERITAS: Wine
and Truth
All young adults are invited to St. Mary’s own Vino et Veritas
at Gresso’s on High Street at 7:00 p.m. the 1st Thursday of every month.
The next meeting will be Thursday March
4th! The evening will include networking with other young adults,
a wine tasting, a talk on “Resurrection
of Christ: Myth or Reality,” and you can win a free dinner by Stumping the
Priest. Invite your friends and come out for a fun and faith-filled
evening.
BIBLE STUDY SOCIAL
The bible study group just completed 1st Corinthians and
prior to beginning the study of 2nd Corinthians they will gather at
Plank’s on Parsons for pizza. If you would like to be part of this fun group
please join them on Wednesday, March 3rd at 6:00 p.m. All are
